Client app

What your client sees in the app (coach guide)

Real client-app tabs (Home, Workout, Diet, Chat, Check), the Check and weight card, and which push/in-app notifications they actually get.

Client app6 min read

On the kickoff call you have about 90 seconds. Use the real tab names of the client app, not invented synonyms.

Bottom bar (client navigation)

TabWhat it opens
HomeJourney dashboard
WorkoutThe training program you sent
DietThe meal plan you sent
Chat1:1 messages with you
CheckPhoto/measurement submission

Some workspaces also show extra items (e.g. Intake, Sessions) if you enabled them.

Home: what they find first

On Home they typically see:

  • quick access to today’s program / plans
  • Check and weight card — “Upload check” or “Check in X days”. Every 7 days they also get the notification: you do not set this, it is intentional (they should feel followed)
  • habits, only if you assigned them — there is no automatic “remember your habits” push
  • a shortcut like Open diary to the food diary

If you enabled Required Intake, on first access a block can appear that sends them to complete intake before the rest.

Workout and Diet: only what you sent

While you only Save draft, the client does not see the new program. It becomes visible when you tap Send (dialog Send plan → confirm Send).

At that moment the client can receive in-app + push (if they enabled push), for example:

  • “New workout plan!”Your new program “…” is available!
  • “New meal plan!”Your new meal plan is available!
  • or the plan updated variants if you are resending a change

If the journey is Training only or Nutrition only, the app matches what the plan includes: do not invent tabs the plan does not have.

Check

From Check they open New Check: optional weight and body fat, photos Front / Right side / Left side / Back (at least 2 photos for a new check), optional measurements, notes, then Send Check.

On frequency: the platform, by itself, asks for a check every 7 days (notification like “Time for your check-in!”). There is no “every two weeks” switch — not because it would be hard to build, but because if you stretch checks too far the client drops off first. You do not change it: when it arrives, you reply.

When they send, you receive “New Check”. When you open it, they can receive “Check viewed”.

Chat

Chat tab. Every message notifies the other side (“New message” / variants for photo, audio, video). It is the official online-coaching channel: say that explicitly at kickoff.

90-second script

  1. “At the bottom: Home, Workout, Diet, Chat, Check.”
  2. “You see programs after I send them — you also get the notification.”
  3. “Every week the check arrives: from Home Upload check, then Send Check.”
  4. “Write to me only in Chat.”

Outcome

The client knows where to train, eat, check in and write to you — with the names they actually see on screen.
